Hey, I’m James! I’m a musician originally from Petersburg, VA. I’ve been playing different instruments in bands since 1995. I’ve played wind instruments, drums and percussion, keyboards, and now my primary instrument is bass guitar. I’m also an arranger, producer, live sound mixer, and recording engineer.
I’ve toured the country playing for different bands and as the musical director and bass guitar player for a musical stage play.
One of my favorite feelings is being locked into a groove with the rest of the band. Music is a universal language and I love sharing it with the world!

What do you need from me to get started?
Send me your song/backing track, preferred tempo, key signature, and any reference tracks or specific style requests. The more detail, the better!
What format do you deliver files in?
I provide high-quality WAV files (24-bit/44.1kHz or your preferred specs). I can also provide MP3s if needed.
Can you write bass lines or do you just play what I give you?
Both! I can play from sheet music, tabs, or chord charts, but I also specialize in creating original bass lines that serve your song.
What if I need changes?
No problem! Each package includes revisions, and I'm committed to getting it right. Communication is key.
How long are your typical songs?
Most packages cover songs up to 4-5 minutes. For longer tracks, we can discuss pricing.
