About This Gig

This blog gig is all about professional-yet-conversational language, and is perfect for writing business-related pieces that require that office-like tone while not being thoroughly dry or overly academic.

I have experience writing about a wide variety of topics, including the following:

  • Spirituality & Metaphysical items/topics (I have a good depth of knowledge about this area)
  • Food & Food Service
  • Digital Marketing
  • Website design & basic website programming (includes writing about WordPress)
  • Web hosting
  • Music (Also a field of high interest and knowledge for me, especially concerning classical, New Age,  Ambient, Broadway & Celtic)
  • Relationships
  • Cleaning/DIY

Those are the topics in which I have the most interest and/or expertise. This said, while I have some basic knowledge of *some* of the above topics, "basic" does *not* equal 'pro' level, nor does writing about something equal teaching ability.

If you need an article on investing, particularly high-end investing, I am not likely the best match for your needs, as this is not an area I feel comfortable with.

Changes have been made to my gig packages as well as overall business procedures. See the FAQ for these changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which is easier to order: a custom order or using the gig extras?
Gig extras are usually the better way to go, even if you're using the Basic, Standard or Premium packages, because with the gig extras, you can, for example, request a Getty image with your requested blog post, just by clicking the tick box, among other extras I offer.
  • What's your current policy on custom orders?
Glad you asked! It's helpful if you message me at least two weeks in advance of ordering something beyond the scope of the gig packages or extras. This way, we can discuss terms and neither of us is rushed.
  • Do you do bulk orders (more than the 12 articles as posted in your Premium package)?
I am sorry, but I am not available for bulk orders beyond 12 articles/week. (This includes word-count splitting.)
  • What happened to your editing/proofreading gig?
My editing services/skills are now included as gig extras. I was not getting enough orders to justify having a separate gig.
