I developed a production-ready Python automation system that integrates web scraping with API-based data synchronization for an eCommerce workflow. The system automatically retrieves new product data, extracts images from supplier pages, and updates them in an external inventory platform via API. Key responsibilities and features: -Designed and implemented a web scraper using BeautifulSoup and curl_cffi to extract product images and metadata -Built a workflow that checks existing records and avoids duplicate processing -Integrated with the BaseLinker API to automatically update product images -Implemented session handling, headers, and anti-detection strategies for reliable scraping -Added robust error handling (timeouts, missing data, safe exits) -Developed a queue-based workflow where workers fetch and process jobs asynchronously -Ensured data consistency between local storage and remote inventory systems The system is actively used in production and reliably processes new products with minimal manual intervention.
