What is the difference between Pinecone and Supabase?
Pinecone is a specialized vector database optimized for speed and large datasets. Supabase is an open-source alternative (PostgreSQL) that is great if you also need to store user data or auth. I work with both.
Can I upload new documents later?
Yes. I build an "Ingestion Workflow" in n8n. You simply drop a file into a Google Drive folder, and the system automatically updates the Vector Database.
Do I need a paid OpenAI account?
Yes, you will need an API key. However, by using a Vector Database, we reduce costs because we only send relevant text to the AI, not the whole document.
