I'm Anton, a software engineer based in Germany. I genuinely love this work - the kind where you have to understand exactly what's happening under the hood, not just make something run.
I've built input-capture infrastructure for Wayland, fixed a production bug in a client's OpenFOAM simulation pipeline, and written a chess engine from scratch, just to understand how they really work. I suppose that's the reason why my clients come back.

Why do I need to message you before ordering?
Every project is different - a quick script and a full systems build need a very different scoping. A short message upfront means you get an accurate price and timeline instead of a guess.
Do you work with existing codebases, or only new projects?
Both. I've extended large existing projects (like LibreCAD's C++/Qt codebase) as well as built systems from scratch - send me your repo and I'll tell you honestly if it's a good fit.
I don't know much about C++. Can you still help me?
Yes. Just describe the problem or goal in plain language, and I'll figure out the technical approach. I'll also explain what I did in terms you can follow, not just hand you code.
What if the project turns out bigger than expected?
I'll flag it as soon as I see it and give you an updated quote before continuing - no surprise charges.
Can we work together on an ongoing basis?
Yes, several of my clients are ongoing collaborations. For longer-term or flexible work, I also offer an hourly rate (40$/hr) as an alternative to fixed-price gigs.
