Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead

Confidential • Full-time

Jan 2012 - Nov 2019 • 7 yrs 10 mos

Started as a Project Trainee and grew to PHP Team Lead over nearly 8 years, delivering 40+ web projects across Core PHP, Laravel, WordPress, Joomla, and MODX — plus front-end work with JavaScript/jQuery, hybrid mobile apps with Ionic and PhoneGap, and IoT integrations. As Team Lead, I owned delivery end-to-end: providing estimations based on client-shared scope, distributing tasks across team members and following up to keep delivery on track, enforcing code quality, and handling direct client communication from kickoff through sign-off - while mentoring developers and driving continuous improvement across the team.
