About This Gig

I have well over four thousand die cast cars in my collection. How many of us have great memories of Mom or Dad receiving a free HotWheel die cast toy car with every fill up of gas back in 1967 when they very first came on the market? Do you know that some of these little cras and trucks can be worth some serious cash? A few years back, a rare HotWheels van, complete with tiny plastic surf boards was sold at auction for over $90,000! True story, look it up. A more realistic number for some of the die cast in good shape can reach into the hundreds. More often, an average estimate of a HotWheels, Red Line origional from the 60's and 70's is from $20 to $200. But condition is key. The most desired die cast cars or trucks are in origional mint condition, however, if you have some of these little works of art, and the condition is poor, or very poor, you can learn very easily, and quickly, how to restore, or even customize any die cast to look as good, or better than they did the day they came out of the factories. For a measly $5 I will provide you with detailed instructions, and a list of tools, as well as links to parts for almost any die cast. This is easier than you may think!
