I will beta read and comment on your picture book

Do you need a beta reader for your picture book manuscript before you send it to agents or self publish it? 

I will beta read and comment on your children's book manuscript, up to 1000 words. 

I will provide comments on what is working in the story. I will look for plot, character, and tension. I will ask questions about areas that need strengthening. 

I am an experienced beta reader and writer. I am a member of SCBWI and I've taken several classes in writing for children. I belong to an in person critique group and online writing communities as well.

My goal is to provide feedback that is encouraging and helpful.
