No — I write non-repainting code by default. If your strategy genuinely requires repainting logic (rare), I'll flag it before starting and explain the trade-offs.
Do I need a paid TradingView plan?
The free plan works for most indicators. Some advanced features (multiple alerts per script, more indicators per chart, second-based timeframes) require Pro or Premium. I'll let you know if your specific request needs a paid plan before starting.
Can the alerts trigger trades automatically?
Yes — I can set up webhook-ready alerts that send signals to autotrade services like 3Commas, PickMyTrade, TradersPost, or your own custom webhook endpoint. Mention this when ordering.
Can you convert an indicator from MQL, ThinkScript, or Python into Pine Script?
Yes. Send me the original code and I'll port it to Pine Script v5. Pricing depends on complexity — message me first for a custom quote.
Will the strategy backtest results match live performance?
TradingView's strategy backtester is decent but has known quirks (especially with intrabar fills and slippage). I'll set realistic commission and slippage values, but always paper trade first before going live.
