What counts as one “bug”?
One bug is one problem with one cause, such as a menu that won’t open. If two separate issues need two different fixes, they count as two. Basic covers 1, Standard up to 3, and Premium up to 6. If you’re not sure how many you have, send me the page and I’ll tell you which package fits.
Do I need a specific Squarespace plan?
It depends on the fix. Header and footer code injection needs a Business plan or higher. Some CSS fixes can work on lower plans. If you’re unsure, message me before you order and I’ll tell you what’s possible on your plan.
Will you change my design, and do you need my password?
I only touch the code causing the problem, and I explain what I changed afterward. I never need your password. I only need collaborator access, which you can remove when the order is done.
What if the problem can’t be fixed?
I diagnose first and tell you the cause and plan before changing anything. If the issue comes from the Squarespace platform itself or can’t be solved, I’ll tell you honestly and suggest the closest alternative.
Will the fix break later, and can you fix code another freelancer wrote?
Yes, I can work on code from a previous freelancer, and I leave a short fix note so future edits are easier. I can’t promise that a future platform update won’t affect any custom code. If you want me to re-check the same fix later, I offer a follow-up check as an extra.
