I will professionally recreate your image as a beautiful, infinitely scale-able vector file.
There are some changes I will make to your image on request for no additional cost (just let me know at any stage):
- Fix imperfect circles
- Create more uniform gradients
- Remove or add outlines between colours
What is a raster graphic?
A raster graphic is a file that is stored pixel by pixel. Because of this, when you stretch it or shrink it, the quality deteriorates. If your file is one of the following it is a raster file:
- tif or tiff
- jpg or jpeg
If you only have a physical copy of your image then your scan or photo will be a raster file.
What is a vector graphic?
A vector graphic is a file that is stored using curves and shapes, which can be scaled up or down as much as you like without losing quality due to the formulaic way in which the data is stored.
There are many different vector file types but I currently will deliver your vector in eps, svg, and pdf formats
What if I don't like the result?
I have no doubt you will never want to go back to raster graphics. Not happy with my work? I will revise with your feedback until you're happy at no extra cost!
Photoshop is not a vector program. It will open the file as a raster image which may look very pixelated. To fix this you must ensure that the anti-aliasing checkbox is ticked and select a high resolution when opening the file.
If you have Adobe Illustrator then I suggest using that. Otherwise, for a free alternative for opening vector files, I would recommend Inkscape; Inkscape is available for Windows, Mac, and GNU/Linux
