Not only are action/fighting scenes valuable to the plot, they can also add depth and dimension to characters. But they're some of the hardest scenes to write - especially if you don't have much experience with hand-to-hand combat.
I will critique your action scene for realistic actions and reactions - anything from describing a roundhouse kick to how it feels to get a fist to the jaw.
As a 2nd degree brown belt certified by the US Chung Do Kwan Association, I have both used roundhouse kicks and taken a fist to the jaw. I have experience with empty hand, nunchuck, and staff fighting, as well as a bit of katana (sword) fighting and jiu jitsu/wrestling/grappling.
Please note: I don't make changes for you - I don't want to mess with your writing style. I will tell you what's realistic and what isn't, but it's up to you to make the changes.
