About this Gig
Messy CSV or Excel files can hide duplicates, inconsistent headers, blank values, and invalid formats. I will apply explicit, reproducible cleaning rules and return cleaned data with an audit trail of what changed.
Packages:
Basic: 1 CSV/XLSX file, up to 100 items, exact deduplication, blank/header cleanup, and change summary.
Standard: up to 2 files/200 items, missing-value and format checks, cleaned files, reusable Python script, and issue report.
Premium: up to 5 files/300 items, consistency checks, reusable script, issue report, and up to 3 descriptive charts.
I do not invent missing facts, silently delete ambiguous records, or claim that automated cleaning makes data objectively correct. Unclear rows are flagged for your review. Final rules must be agreed before cleaning.
Please send only authorized, sanitized files. Remove secrets, payment data, health data, and unnecessary personal identifiers.
Not included: manual research for missing values, regulated/highly sensitive data, production credentials or database access, forecasting, BI deployment, ongoing data entry, or unlimited rule changes.
FAQ
Will you delete duplicate records automatically?
Only exact duplicates or duplicates covered by buyer-approved key rules. Ambiguous matches are flagged for review.
Can you fix a file without column definitions?
I can profile the file, but final cleaning rules require your confirmation of key columns, blanks, dates, and expected formats.
Is the data uploaded elsewhere?
The normal workflow uses authorized, sanitized files locally and does not require third-party upload. Do not send secrets or sensitive regulated data.
