I will write a python script to automate your repetitive file or data task

Tired of doing the same file or data job by hand every week? I write a plain Python script that does it for you, tested against the sample file you send me.

What you get: one working script, a README with exact run steps, and a requirements.txt. I use the Python standard library only unless you approve a dependency, so it runs on a clean machine without installs.

Good fits: renaming or sorting files in bulk, merging or splitting CSVs, cleaning exported reports, pulling fields out of text or JSON, producing a summary file from raw data.

How it works: you paste the before and after of one manual run and attach a sample input. I build against that, test it, and deliver a repo or gist link (or a zip on the order).

Higher tiers add command-line options, a config file, error handling, a log file, a 3-step pipeline, a scheduling recipe (cron or Task Scheduler), dry-run mode and an HTML run report.

Not offered: scripts that need your internal systems, logins or credentials; Windows .exe builds; ongoing support or retainers. Message me before ordering if you are unsure your task fits.
