I can also teach certain breathing exercises and Pranayama. These help in calming the mind and circulating the energy in the body.
I can also help you get into the practice of meditation by guiding you through a meditation daily for a week.
The practice i follow is from the lineage of Adi Shankaracharya and is very sacred. This meditation brings a deep sense of calm and peace and the end result usually is rejuvenated energy.
In my experience it does help sleep better as you have a lighter mind. Although for people with sleep disorders, medical help would be better.
Anyone can Meditate if they just follow basic instructions. I have helped people who have never meditated in their life and they have been able to experience sound meditation.
