No. Add me as a collaborator on the repository, or send an invite link. You control access and can remove me the moment the work is delivered. I never ask for account passwords.

Almost always. Send me the repo and I will look before quoting. Lost commits, detached HEAD, wrong branch merges and accidental force pushes are usually recoverable from the reflog or a remote copy.
