Background: The average person types 39 words per minute, (19 words per minute if editing is required). Yet, the average person speaks at 200+ words per minute.
Typing is tedious and time-consuming - and tiring. At worst, it can cause the dreaded carpal tunnel syndrome. It does not take rocket science to realize that transcription can be laborious and time-limited especially while typing the raw text from audio.
I have set up a breakthrough that can almost match the rate of normal, average human speech and can type a whopping 150 wpm or more!!! My personal best is just about half at 70 wpm.
This simply means we can automate the typing process and so we can work collaboratively: You provide the audio/video, and I convert it to text for you. You can immediately get into the next phase of proofing and editing.
Disclaimer: It works best with clear, single-speaker American accents. Price quoted is for 30-50 minutes of spoken audio; it still needs human intervention to punctuate, paragraph and clean up some parts.
