Words can get you the deal. Or break it. In the Internet age, where everything is fast, and happening in the now, you need to deliver excellent content in a heart-beat.
You don't have time to review your document three times before you publish it, nor you need to. I'm here to do it for you, and I only need to read your document once to spot ALL the mistakes.
I've called it a curse for many years. I'm an avid reader, but almost every time I read a book, or an article, or whatever, I could see a word misspelled, or a bad use of grammar, or an extra space... it drove me crazy and I just wanted to write to the editor and ask them how could they had let that pass.
But when I became a translator and reviser, it was like I was in heaven: all the mistakes disappeared, and it only took me two revisions (one to change, another to check) to be sure the text was perfect. I became the most reliable person (and the fastest) of the group.
Then, I had the opportunity to read a book before it was released, which was already revised and ready to print. I have spotted a fairly amount of lapses. The author was so grateful, she sent me an autographed version of the book. Are you ready for perfection too?
Proofread & Edit
I love to read, and I hate it when there's a mistake: which is every-f-time. I spot them all!
