What if you can't fix the bug?
If I can't reproduce or diagnose the issue after my initial review, I'll let you know upfront and you can cancel for a full refund. I only take on bugs I'm confident I can solve.
Do you need access to my codebase?
Yes. I'll need either a private repo invite (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket) or a zipped copy of the relevant code. I'm happy to sign an NDA before you share anything.
What if my "bug" turns out to be a bigger issue?
I'll let you know upfront, explain the scope, and send a custom offer or recommend a different approach. No surprise charges, ever.
How quickly can you start?
Usually within a few hours of ordering during US business hours. Message me first to confirm same-day or next-day availability.
Will the fix follow our existing code style and conventions?
Always. I read your codebase before making changes and match your patterns. If you have a style guide or tests in place, I follow them.
Do you write tests for the fix?
For Standard and Premium tiers, yes, if your project already has a test setup. I won't introduce a new testing framework as part of a bug fix unless that's specifically what you're hiring me for.
What if the bug reappears later?
I stand behind my work. If the same bug recurs within 14 days due to my fix, I'll address it free of charge. This doesn't cover new bugs introduced by other code changes.
