I'm Asjad, a backend engineer with 5 years of Python and Django work for clients in the US, UK and Europe.
Most of what I build replaces something a person was doing by hand: LLM and RAG pipelines that read documents, AI chat and DM systems, crawlers that pull data on a schedule, and the SaaS backends that tie it together.
One SMS platform I built from scratch in 2022 is still running today, and I still maintain it. My clients tend to stick around.

Yes, most of my work is on apps someone else started. I'll look at the code first and tell you honestly what shape it's in.
Do you do the frontend too?
I can, with React or Next.js, but backend is where I'm strongest. For frontend-heavy projects I'll say so upfront.
What if my project doesn't fit a package?
