A painter who combines geography and politics. Using my understanding of map projection and folding techniques as a craftsman designer, I forcibly stitch the maps of different countries onto the face. Through the integration of linen fabric, oil-based pigments, contour textures and national boundary symbols, I create portrait works that combine geopolitical elements, a sense of wandering, and identity displacement.
