I will write a python script to extract PDF or scan data into excel
About this Gig
Your data sits in PDFs, scans or phone photos, and somebody types it into Excel by hand. We write the Python script that reads it out, and we check the result before it goes to you.
PIESCO Automation is an automation engineering business from Germany. We deal with measurement logs, test reports, invoices, parts lists and forms every week, so we know where these jobs get difficult: not in the parser, but in the one page that breaks the pattern.
You get a script that runs on your own machine, your data as Excel or CSV, and a short instruction on how to start it. Scans and photos go through OCR. Before you order we tell you honestly how clean the result will be, because a crooked phone photo of a carbon copy has a limit and we would rather say that first.
We use modern tools while we work. The script is written and tested against your documents by us, and we check the output row by row on the samples before delivery.
Send two or three sample documents with your message. We look at them and tell you what is realistic and which package fits.

FAQ
My PDFs are scans, not digital text. Does that work?
Yes, through OCR. Quality decides how much cleanup is left. Send two samples and we tell you what accuracy to expect before you order.
Do I need Python installed?
For the script itself, yes, and we tell you exactly how to set it up. If you would rather have one file to double click, say so and we deliver it as a packaged executable.
The documents contain personal or confidential data. What happens to them?
We work on the samples you send and delete them after delivery on request. For the live run the script stays on your machine, your documents never leave your side.
What if a page does not match the layout?
The script writes it into an error list instead of guessing. You see which pages need a look, which is safer than a table full of silent mistakes.
Can you also pull data from websites?
Not in this gig. Scraping has its own legal questions and we keep it out of a fixed package. Ask us and we will say whether we take it as a custom offer.
