About This Gig

Ever want your own little retro chiptune loop? If so, I'd be more than happy to put one together for you! Whether you're feeling nostalgic about the hours you poured into your NES or reminiscing of the all-too-familiar tunes that played upon opening keygens, I'll do my best to put together a short loop that brings those fond memories back to life.

During the order process, you will be prompted regarding what kind of style you would like your chiptune loop. In total there are three options:
  1. Arcade Battle - Action-packed and fast paced
  2. Bad Ending - Slower paced and more somber
  3. Good Ending - Upbeat and feel good vibes
  4. Random / Surprise me! - I'll go with the flow and compose whatever comes naturally.

Examples of these can be found in the Gig video, so give it a listen!

Keep in mind...
  • Product will not strictly follow the technological limitations of bit music, see FAQ below.
  • Please allow up to two days for delivery but ideally I'd love to turn each order around in a day.
  • Sheet Music, MIDI File & Separate Tracks/Stem bonuses will require an additional day to deliver.

If you have a special request regarding the loop, please message me before placing an order so we can discuss it.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Will my loop be faithful to the original chiptune/bit music from back in the day?
Not exactly - the sounds will be modeled roughly after what was possible at the time but will not be exact replicas. Furthermore, although limited amounts of tracks & sounds were a massive factor back then, I will not hard-limit the usage of them in the loop, but will aim to keep within constraints
  • What should I expect from the MIDI gig extra?
A .mid file with each of the instruments on their own track. The MIDI is best suited to those who want to use/edit it themselves in their DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) of choice and is not intended for playback in standard media players.
  • What does the Sheet Music look like?
Take a look at the second pdf I've uploaded for this gig - it's an example of the notation you'll receive. I will deliver the Sheet Music in .pdf or .png format.
  • How will I receive the separated tracks/stems?
I will export the individual tracks as WAV (.wav) files and will zip all of them into a single archive (.zip), which I will then send to you.
  • No revisions? Why?
These chiptune loops aren't intended to be strictly tailored to anything specific. I'll put together a short little loop for you in a particular style and do my best to have it match your tastes. If you REALLY don't like the end product, shoot me a message and I'll see what I can do.
