For 5$ I'll send you the little bit of code that made my life much easier when developing on PL\SQL.
By running this sql code (tested on pl-sql by now), you will be asked to enter a name of a column or table, and the code will return a list of all tables having names that fit the query.
the code returns : owner, table name, column name, data type, and data length.
the results may vary depends on how your DBA defined your permissions.
this is especially useful if you are trying to discover the content of large DB with many tables and columns.
Thanks you for watching, and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
