What is the minimum information needed to build a model?
Most orders require the following information: Revenue Streams- Ways you plan to make money | Pricing Structure- What do you charge for your products/services | Launch costs- These are the one-time cost you expect to incur to start your venture | On-going costs General business overview.
What if I do not know my exact costs?
It is OK. We can work through this. I am able to use market and industry data to help determine cost.
How do you build projections?
This is specific to clients and their needs, but a few common approaches are: Top-Down Forecasting | Bottoms-Up Forecasting | Run Rates Trends in data.
What does "Dynamic Model" mean?
Having a dynamic model means that you have flexible assumptions or inputs. You are able to change certain inputs and the financials will recalculate automatically. This gives you the flexibility to run scenarios or generate new sets of financials.
Do you use a generic financial template?
I do not use templates. While my flow and style are pretty consistent from model to model, every model is built up to the client's needs. This offers the most robust and agile model possible. It is a lot easier to build to suit, than forcing data into a generic model. All industries are different.
What if I have a specific model or format I want to use?
This may be possible. Please message me to determine the best path forward.
Can you fix a model I already had done?
Depending on the model, this may be possible. Please message me to discuss the best path forward. However, my preference is to not work on top of someone else's work, unless it is your own.
Do you work with non-profits?
