The Level of Development (LOD) Specification is a reference that enables practitioners in the AEC Industry to specify and articulate with a high level of clarity the content and reliability of Building Information Models (BIMs) at various stages in the design and construction process.

LOD 100-200 We get conceptual masses that represent zones or elements. LOD 250-300 We get geometries with elements, also general but more specific about position and measurements LOD 350 The geometries are fully defined LOD 400 We add additional information to elements

Depending on your project, your needs, the phase when we are modeling and the use you are going to have for the model will define the LOD. LOD 100-200: Conceptual design up to general visualization LOD 250-300: Drawings, quantities and coordination LOD 350-400: Construction or building management
