FAQ
Do you need access to my Shopify store?
No. In Shopify, go to Orders > Export and send me the file. Never share your password or give anyone staff access for this.
What if I don’t know my product costs?
If you’ve entered “Cost per item” in Shopify, it’s already in your Products export. If not, send a simple list of each product and what it costs you. Any product without a cost is flagged in the report, never guessed.
How do you handle payment fees?
For exact fees, send your Shopify Payments payouts export. Otherwise, tell me your fee rate and I’ll estimate the fees and label them as an estimate.
Is this accounting or tax advice?
No. It’s a profit report built from your own exports, so you can see which products and months make money. For taxes, talk to your accountant.
Can I update the report myself next month?
Yes, with Premium. It comes with a reusable template and a short guide: paste in next month’s export and the report updates on its own.
Can you include ad spend and costs outside Shopify?
Yes. Standard adds ad spend (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.) and shipping label costs. Premium also adds other monthly costs like your Shopify plan, apps, packaging or software. Send your ad exports or a simple list of month, item and amount. Ad spend is counted by month, not per product.
