I'm a professional beta reader specializing in Fantasy, Romantasy, Sci-Fi, and Romance for YA, New Adult, and Adult fiction. I'm an agented, published author represented by Spencerhill Literary and a seasoned story analyst with over a decade of experience in publishing and entertainment.
My beta reads focus on both reader engagement and story craft, helping you understand how your book lands emotionally while identifying areas that may cause confusion, pacing issues, or reader drop-off. 100% human feedback I do NOT use AI.
With my beta read, you'll receive:
- A detailed reader report covering strengths, weaknesses, and clarity issues
- Honest but encouraging feedback on characters, plot, pacing, worldbuilding, and emotional impact
- Authentic reader reactions (where I was hooked, confused, or emotionally invested)
- Optional in-line comments (package dependent)

Do you use AI?
No. I will not use AI to beta read in any form. This means your work will not be put through any AI platforms in any way, including my beta reader report. Every word you read from me will be FROM ME! :)
How do you feel about spice in my manuscript?
I am comfortable with open-door romances of all kinds. Please feel free to message me if you have any specifics you want me to be aware of, but I do not have any issues with spice.
My book is a different genre than you have listed
Not a problem. I specialize in scifi and fantasy but read across all genres. Feel free to reach out before placing an order if you want to confirm it's a good fit.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes absolutely, I have no problem signing an NDA. Please feel free to include this in your order or message me prior to booking to have this signed beforehand.
Do you provide samples of your work?
You are welcome to request a 5 page sample of work prior to booking. Please message to inquire about a sample, I will require the first five pages of your book, I do not provide samples of other manuscripts I've worked on.
How fast is your turn around?
Once I start your manuscript my turn around time is typically one week to ten days max. I do this full time and am a fast reader, but it will be availability dependent. There is an option for an express delivery should you need it.
