In an effort to make your session run as smoothly as possible I put together these guidelines to help insure transfers finish on time with minimal problems.

• If your song is in a program other than ProTools, you must export .wav audio files. All tracks must be exported from the same start point. Include a tempo marking. All mono tracks export as mono. All stereo tracks export as stereo.
• The lastest reference mix MUST be included & lined up in the session.
• The following MUST be printed audio tracks:

-All vocal tuning (Autotune, Melodyne etc)

-Any effects that define the sound of a track (distortion, flanging, leslie, lofi, etc)

-All MIDI

-Render all elastic audio

-Pan automation that is desired in the track

-Do not include EQ, Compression, Reverb, Delays etc. unless the plug-in/sound defines the track as stated above.

• Naming

-Tracks Folder Name:

Artist_Song Name -To MIX VM- bpm_frequency/bit rate

-Tracks named per family groups:

Drums_ kick in

Drums_ OH mono/AB/GlynJ etc

Bass_ mic

Bass_ di etc

Synth_ pad

Synth_ lead/organ/arpegg/ etc

Gtr_ Arpeggio/Solo

Vx_ main

Vx_ double/Harmo etc

Bgv_ main/double/harmo etc
