FAQ
Are we able to check in chapter by chapter?
Yes. The milestones listed will allow you to give feedback on the outline and description, the halfway point of the book, and the end of the book, but we can also do this chapter by chapter (recommended if you're able to review each chapter quickly and would like your feedback addressed as we go).
When will I get the book description?
The book description will be delivered with the outline before I begin writing the book.
Are you able to include images?
Unfortunately not. You're welcome to do this once we've finished working together, but I do not have design skills or access to images. I can create simple tables, but any other graphic elements will need to be added by you afterwards.
Will you edit and proofread the book?
I will read the book several times before signing off on it, editing it and proofreading it as I go. However, I strongly recommend that you have the final manuscript looked at by a proofreader because a second pair of eyes will always catch things that the first couldn't see.
Will the book include a table of contents and reference list?
Yes. I will use the APA style guide to create the reference list unless otherwise requested. In-text citations will be included throughout the book where necessary.
What do you need to know before you start writing?
In our onboarding meeting, we will discuss your vision for the book and the voice you would like it to be written in. If I'm writing from your point of view, I will need a little information about your expertise in the field and any personal information you'd like included.
How will we communicate throughout the project?
I'm flexible to whatever you would prefer. It may be helpful to have a Zoom meeting in the first instance, but after this, we can use the Fiverr messaging system. I sometimes also find Loom to be helpful for longer messages, particularly when we're in different time zones.
