What do you need from me to start the mix?
Please provide clearly labelled stems exported from the same starting point, preferably as WAV files. Include any reference tracks and notes about the sound you're looking for.
What genres do you mix?
I specialise in metalcore, post-hardcore, rock and alternative music. I can also work with other styles, so feel free to message me before ordering if you're unsure.
Can you edit or tune my tracks?
Yes. Editing and processing are included according to the package selected. For extensive tuning, editing or track preparation, please contact me before ordering so I can assess the project.
Can I provide a reference track?
Absolutely. Reference tracks are encouraged and help me understand the overall tone, balance and direction you're aiming for.
Will my song be mastered?
The standard service is mixing. Mastering can be purchased separately as an additional service. But please message me in advance, as it can be offered for an additional fee.
How many revisions are included?
Each package includes a set number of revisions. Revisions cover adjustments to the mix based on your original requirements. Additional revisions can be purchased if needed. No exceptions if you don't like the mix I provide.
Can you work with programmed drums or electronic instruments?
Yes. I can mix programmed drums, virtual instruments and electronic elements alongside recorded audio. I would prefer the MIDI rather than bounce file.
Can you make my mix sound like a specific artist?
I can use a reference track to understand the sonic direction you're looking for and create a mix with similar characteristics, while maintaining its own identity.
Can you mix a song with a large number of stems?
Yes. Each package has a maximum stem count. Additional stems can be added through the available gig extra.
Should I message you before ordering?
If your project has unusual requirements, a large number of stems or extensive editing needs, please message me first so I can confirm the project scope and provide the most appropriate option.
