What is beta reading?
Beta reading means reviewing a manuscript from a reader's perspective and giving constructive feedback on engagement, clarity, pacing, characters, and overall reading experience.
What genres do you accept?
I welcome novels, short fiction, fantasy, thriller, horror, science fiction, memoirs, and nonfiction manuscripts.
Will you correct grammar and spelling?
My primary focus is reader feedback, not proofreading or line editing. I may flag passages that are confusing, but a full language edit is a separate service.
What will I receive after the review?
Depending on your selected package, you will receive constructive feedback, inline comments, and/or a summary report highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
Can you review a manuscript longer than your package allows?
Yes, subject to agreement. Please message me with the word count and genre so we can discuss a suitable custom offer before ordering.
Will you rewrite my manuscript?
No. Beta reading provides feedback and suggestions so you can make your own creative decisions. Rewriting is not included unless separately agreed.
Can you review an unfinished manuscript?
Yes. You can send completed chapters or a partial manuscript, provided the scope is agreed upon before the order.
