What's the deal with -14 LUFS masters?
When normalization is on, Spotify adjusts tracks to about -14 LUFS. Most pro releases are mastered much louder. I can hit -14 if you’d like, but I recommend against it since it won’t translate as well across platforms.
What do you need from me to start?
Please send your final stereo mix in WAV or AIFF, aiming for -6 dB -3db headroom if possible.
What’s the difference between mixing and mastering?
Mixing balances and processes each track in your song. Mastering is the last step, and it involves finalizing the stereo mix for clarity, loudness, and consistency across playback systems.
How many revisions are included?
One revision is included for free. Additional revisions can be purchased as an extra. Full remasters or mix changes require a new order.
