I'm a professional developmental editor and story analyst, as well as a published author represented by Spencerhill Literary. With seven novels published and more on the way, I understand both sides of the editorial process, including indie and traditional publishing standards.
I specialize in Fantasy, Romantasy, Sci-Fi, and Romance across YA, NA, and Adult fiction. My goal is to help you strengthen your manuscript at the big-picture level while protecting your voice and creative vision. 100% human editing, AI tools are NOT used at any point.
You'll receive:
- A comprehensive editorial letter (3-4+ pgs) covering plot structure, character arcs, pacing, worldbuilding, tone, and emotional resonance
- Targeted, actionable suggestions to enhance strengths and address problem areas

FAQ
Do you work with other genres not listed?
Yes, absolutely. Scifi, fantasy, and romantasy are my strengths but I read all genres.
Does this service include copy-edits or proofreading?
No, this service does not include copy-edits or proofreading. However, I will make note of repetitive words or phrases. The expectation from this form of editing is there will be revisions on your end after I'm done, which means copy-style edits wouldn't be useful yet.
Do you provide copy-edits seperately?
Unfortunately, I do not, however, I have trusted editors I have personally worked with and can happily share their contacts when the time comes.
How do you feel about spice?
I am perfectly comfortable with all levels of spice. A pre-warning is appreciated but not required.
