Commercial rights are included with every order. Additionally, No AI tools will ever be used as part of my voiceover. You'll receive my authentic voice with every order.
Audio files are delivered as high quality .wav by default. Please let me know if you need your audio in a specific format other than .wav such as .ogg or .mp3, or if there are any file size requirements.

I'm Joe Clifton, and I've been playing D&D for almost 30 years bringing the dreams of my players to life. A forever DM, I've been imparting that spark into my worlds through creative and imaginative writing in all that time, and I'd love to bring my unique sense of character development and experience within the hobby to your next RPG PC. As an aside, I can't stand AI. I do not and will never use chatgpt or any other LLM for writing or for anything else. You will only get authentic words written by a real human (me!).
FAQ
What are some examples of projects that require Commercial rights?
Voiceover for ads that will play on a non-paid medium such as social media, in YouTube videos, or in free mobile apps. Remember that commercial rights are included with EVERY order I do by default -- no additional charge.
What are some examples of projects that require Broadcast rights?
Voiceover for ads that will play on a paid medium such as radio and TV. Orders that will be played on these broadcast mediums will require broadcast rights be added on. Ask me for details.
Do I need to purchase rights for voiceover that will be for personal or company use?
No, there's no need to purchase additional rights for any voiceover that is designed for internal use. This generally includes phone system, training, e-learning, and social media voiceover that isn't used as part of an advertisement. If you're not sure, please ask!
What voiceover projects or content is off-limits?
I will not record anything in a robotic voice that could be misconstrued as or confused with AI. I will not consent to having my voice used for AI training. I will not consent to having my voice reproduced using AI tools.
What regional accents can you perform?
I grew up with an American South accent. I have a neutral American accent now since moving to the western US, so I'm comfortable with either. I'm also skilled with Hispanic accents being originally from South Texas.
Do you provide script proofreading or alternate takes?
First and foremost, I will always ask for direction in our initial conversation to prevent any assumptions -- Communication is key. If you're not sure about how something would sound, tell me and I'll give you a couple of extra takes at no charge as part of delivery.
What's your revision policy?
Did the first try not work for you? Let's talk about it! One free revision is included with every order. We'll work together to get it right. Pronunciation, tone, and speed are super important, and if I have any questions about that I'll bring it up before initial delivery.
