About this Gig
Hello! Looking to get your metal album reviewed and published on a website? Need coverage and something to share on your social media outlets to gain traction with your upcoming release? Then read on!
Doesn't matter if you are a solo artist, unsigned or an extreme underground metal band - we got you covered at catacombchords! Once you order one of these packages the following will happen ->
- You will have to send on a link to your press pack, mp3/wavs of your full album (or bandcamp codes/spotify/youtube/any streaming service where we can listen to the album)
- Once we can access the album and information on the band/project plus album info (release date/genre/country etc) - One of 8 writers will be assigned to review your album (usually a fan of your genre)
- The writer will get busy writing your album review!
- Once done, it will be proof read, word count, checked over by our publisher.
- Once happy that everything is in order, review will be published on the website (catacombchords) and a link will be sent to you. You can decide then to share on your artists social media pages for more exposure.
Remember, the more information you give us about the band and album the better!

What do you need in order to review my band/projects album?
We need the following -> 1. General band info (Artist name, band members, Country, Genre) 2. General album info (Album title, release date, who did the artwork, studio that mixed/mastered etc) 3. Album tracks (via link google drive/mp3/wav format or streaming services) 4. Album and band photos!
Who are the writers for your website?
Writers as of 2025 are: Catherine Bale (UK) Kevin Byrne (Ireland) Sarah E. Nebeker (USA) Nathan Richardson (UK)
How long will our review remain on the website?
We will keep it up there as long as you want which means if we never hear from you again it will remain there indefinitely.
We are an unsigned band/artist - will you still review our album?
As long as it's within the metal genre then we will review it. In fact, we encourage unsigned bands or underground metal artists to seek us out, we want to promote you!
Will you review my non-metal album?
No. If we find out it's not within any of the metal subgenres then we will then decline the package and not proceed with the request. Our writers only have passion for metal music!
