FAQ
I have previously optimized my website, can you do a better job?
Yes I can but please contact me before purchasing as I may have a few questions to ask.
What if something breaks during the process?
Nothing will break since we have a strong testing policy. We test your website both on desktop and mobile using incognito.
Do you work on live website?
Yes since speed optimizations tests should be checked on live website to get the accurate results. By working on a live website we can test every step of the way during optimization and ensure that nothing is broken. However, if you want us to work on staging environment we can do that too.
How do you check site speed?
We use both GTmetrix.com and Goolge Page Speed https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
Do I need to switch hosting companies?
No, unless you have a really slow server despite all the optimizations, we usually recommend a server that we have used in the past and can vouch for optimization and speed.
What is the best Wordpress plugin for increasing page speed?
Every wordpress website is built differently, so i was to say install this plugin, it might not work for you. Based on website setup and plugins, i will help determine the best wordpress plugin to use.
Why does my WordPress website home page load so slowly?
This could be due to a poor server response time, bloatware of plugins, inactive plugins too and most importantly, an optimized website for google core web vitals and GTmetrix
How do you get 100% Google Page Speed on WordPresss
By carefully optimizing your wordpress website, looking at your existing plugins, your active theme, your inactive plugins and database optimization. Proper optimization of your overall website by minimizing your css and javascript files and generating critical css.
