Let's make your script the best it can be! I will offer constructive, supportive dramaturgical feedback, focused on helping you move your project forward. Too often feedback can be vague and biased towards what you 'should' do, but there's no such thing! I'm here to help you make the art you want to make.
I'm a professional dramaturg and writer with over a decade of experience. My writing has been produced in theatres across London and at festivals across the UK, and I have experience reading scripts for theatres and companies, as well as working 1:1 with writers.
I know how vulnerable sharing creative work can feel, so my process is very much catered to the individual, ensuring that you feel confident to take your project forward, whatever it may be.

Is the page count inclusive?
Yes - for example the Short Play package covers scripts up to and including 20 pages. This doesn't include title pages.
What does your written feedback consist of?
In written feedback I will provide reflections on your script as it stands, to help you gain an outside perspective on where your writing is at the moment. This is combined with reflective questions designed to open up new possibilities and help clarify your thinking.
What does video call feedback consist of?
During video calls you will have the opportunity to discuss the written feedback I've provided, and work through your script together in more detail. This could be discussing future goals for the piece or troubleshooting areas where you feel stuck. It's very much tailored to you.
When will the video call be scheduled and what software do you use?
I use Zoom for video calls, so will provide you with a link when the call is scheduled. If you chose the video call add on I will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time.
Will you edit or rewrite my script
No. For the simple reason that it's your script, and I am not here to impose my opinions or taste on it. My aim is to provide you with the support to do these things yourself.
Can you guarantee my script will be accepted by theatres or competitions?
No, unfortunately nobody has that power!
Can I ask questions about your feedback?
Yes of course, I always welcome clarifying questions. If you are looking for a consultation or longer conversation however, additional fees will apply.
