Want to learn professional video editing? You're in the right place!
Watched tutorials and still have questions? Often it's because they know video, but aren't educators, so they demonstrate how they edit, not the way that's best for you. Spend some time with me and we'll discover and cultivate your personal editing style.
Why work with me? I spent ten years as a Lead Apple Trainer and have 10,000+ hours of experience helping learners at all levels. Now I work in video and motion graphics, but I still love teaching, so I'm doing it here!
I am a certified Final Cut Pro trainer and can help with the Mac or iPad versions, whether you have Apple Creator Studio or the one-time purchase version.

Why training sessions instead of online courses or tutorials?
Tutorials might be right for you, but many people prefer learning one-on-one. You can ask questions and you'll get to explore the answers with a certified trainer of the software, with 15 years of teaching experience and hundreds of hours of editing experience.
How does the training work?
We'll jump on Fiverr Zoom. I suggest you share your screen so I can offer guidance. The delivery is professional but, we'll try and make it fun too. That keeps things fresh and makes the learning more effective. We'll learn what you'll need to achieve your goals, not stick rigidly to a curriculum.
Who do you teach?
I teach at all levels, from beginners to advanced editors. The session topics will always be tailored to you, so we cover relevant topics you’ll benefit from. We’ll never cover advanced topics until you have a good foundation - and if you’re a pro we won’t spend time learning where the space bar is.
What's unique about working with you on Final Cut Pro?
Many editors use other software and then try and make Final Cut Pro work the same way. I actually use Final Cut Pro, so I will teach the best practices, the way the app was intended to be used. Also I am a Level 2 Apple certified Final Cut Pro trainer.
What are your qualifications?
I have training certifications in Final Cut Pro 7 and X, iMovie and GarageBand. I was a Lead Trainer at Apple for ten years and now create content and video full-time and as a freelancer. I hold a bachelor’s degree in fine art
You aren't the cheapest trainer. Why should I hire you?
If you think quality and experience are worth paying for, you're in the right place. I spent 10 years as an Apple Lead Trainer, am a certified Final Cut Pro trainer and work full-time in video editing, voice work and motion design. If price is your primary concern, I may not be the trainer for you.
What's the deal if I can't make the agreed upon time slot any more?
if you're able to let me know a few hours before, it's no issue as I can see another client in that slot. Things come up – I understand! We'll reschedule at another convenient time, free of charge. If you cancel last-minute or don't show up I'll mark the session as 'completed' as the time is spent.
Can we focus on a specific project or problem?
Absolutely. If you’re working on a particular project, stuck on a particular problem, or simply want to improve a specific part of your workflow, we can build the session around that.
Which versions of Final Cut Pro do you teach?
I can teach Final Cut Pro on both Mac and iPad, including the version included with Apple Creator Studio and the one-time purchase version.
Do you teach other subjects?
