Can a keyboard be used if I don't have a piano.
Yes, of course. The majority of my students use keyboards for lessons. The keyboard needs at least 62 keys and must have touch-sensitive keys. touch sensitive means the sound is louder the harder the key is pressed.
Will the lessons be recorded/
No, the lesson is not recorded but is automatically transcribed. This is not a recording; it is a copy of the words being used. The transcription will be available to class participants after every lesson. This ensures that the student can check everything in the last lesson, and the practice needed
What happens if a lesson is missed?
By reviewing the lesson notes for the missed lesson, a student can catch up on anything they missed, including the required practice. The lesson is not lost; it will be added to the next order.
Will students learn music theory?
Yes, these lessons are exactly the same as my one-to-one lessons, but in a group setting. A textbook is used, which includes music theory and sheet music to follow at the same time.
Can students take exams?
Yes, but to take exams, a group setting is not appropriate. Once a student shows an interest and has progressed sufficiently, tuition for exams would need to switch over to one-to-one classes.
Can a student contact you with problems?
Yes, of course, there may be a slight delay with answers if I am teaching or asleep. Questions are always welcome; that is what I am here for.
Do I have to contact you in advance to prevent my lessons being forfeit if a student cannot attend?
No, there is no need to contact me. The class will happen regardless. The missed lesson can be caught up by reading the transcript. There is no forfeit of lessons.
Why does the gig say delivered in 45 days?
