Gig Summary
About this gig
Impress your friends with new songs at your local karaoke night! Give me the title of a heavy metal song, and I'll make you a heavy metal karaoke video, and publish it on my YouTube channel so your KJ can find it. See my portfolio there for examples of my work.
Sounds too easy? Well, there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make your video top quality. RrroooaaarrR Karaoke sets the gold standard for metal karaoke videos.
First we need to source the song for you. Normally I will choose the first professionally recorded version of the song in its original form. If you have a better version in mind, let me know!
Then I will prepare the track by stripping the vocals from it. I then patch up the audio with some post production to make it almost seamless from the original mix.
Then I will synchronise the lyrics to the audio, including prompts for every non-word scream or moan so that you can recreate the original perfectly when you sing it.
Finally I add a professional title page at the beginning and a credits page at the end, to fit in with my YouTube channel for posting there.

Thanks for dropping by!
I'm a passionate Heavy Metal music fan and musician, professionally trained as a sound engineer and worked at some of the most prolific venues in London(UK) many years ago.
Most of my professional experience is in IT, being involved in a wide ranging number of projects from building computers, then building networks for clients, writing and maintaining databases, and eventually becoming a full-stack software engineer.
In my spare time I run a Heavy Metal karaoke night in London, which features my own custom videos for new songs for my singers to sing along to.
FAQ
Does this mean I can get ANY song converted to karaoke format for $15?
No. Please select the correct package to match the song. If the song has backing vocals or multiple singers, it takes me much more time to do all the processing to produce a high quality result.
Why do you deliver via YouTube?
YouTube handles the preferences of artists, songwriters and musicians as to how their music is used online, and if the artist requires royalties for use of their work in the videos I create, YouTube arranges payment for them.
Do you add all the videos to your YouTube channel?
As long as the video fits the ethos of my YouTube channel, then sure. I generally exclude unofficial mixes, mashups and parodies.
How do I find your YouTube channel?
Search for "RrroooaaarrR Metal Karaoke" and you'll find it.
I don't want my video to be made public on YouTube, because I want to be the first to sing it. Can you accommodate?
Sure. If you want to get ahead of the rest, I can give you an exclusive link to the video and keep it unlisted for a month before releasing it publicly. To do this, select the "1 month exclusive" option when placing your order.
There is already a version of xyz on YouTube, but it's not very good, can you do better?
Yes. Often the videos feature cover versions, that don't match the style or production values of the original recording very well. Other times, the lyrics are synchronised badly, or are not animated at all. I'd love to put that straight by coming up with a better version that everyone can use.
What languages can you work with?
I can probably handle any language in the Latin or Cyrillic scripts, as long as the lyrics are freely available. Please don't send me other languages that I can't read. I can't guarantee good results.
