Not sure if your story is working? Have specific questions about the plot or a particular scene? I offer honest, objective feedback regarding what is working or not working and my overall impressions. You can ask for feedback from the point of view of a reader (beta) or of a writer (critique) or a little bit of both. If there are certain questions you'd like answered when I read your story, please let me know. One person might want a general read. Another person might ask me to give specific feedback on the characters, etc. I won't correct typos, punctuation, spelling, etc., unless you specifically request it. You can request line edits or a basic proofread with corrections as an add-on. Feel free to reach out with any questions! My favorites genres are fantasy, cozy, children's, middle grade, and young adult.

What's does a beta reader do?
A beta reader is a test reader for an unpublished piece of writing who provides feedback.
What's a critique?
A critique is feedback from another writer's point of view, similar to how members of a writer's group might critique a piece of writing. A critique doesn't mean "critical" and should always offer both general and constructive comments for improvement.
Will you read my novel?
This listing is for shorter pieces, but feel free to send a section of your novel up to the word limit. I'd be happy to read it for you!
What's your genre speciality?
My favorite genres to read are fantasy, cozy, children's / middle grade, and young adult. I also read non-spicy romance, historical fiction, science fiction, mystery, fairy tales, folklore, and sometimes horror. For non fiction I read a lot of folklore, genealogy, mythology, puzzle books
Will you read erotica and horror?
I'm probably not your target audience for erotica or spicy romance, even though I've read lots of spicy fan fiction. I don't think I'm familiar enough with the genre to give fair and accurate feedback. I will read horror.
Will my story be safe with you?
Yes, I take both privacy and copyright seriously. Your story's copyright belongs exclusively to you, and I will delete your story from my files after the work is completed.
What about revisions?
I offer one free revision. So, if you'd like me to take another pass at the same piece of writing to make small edits, give more feedback on another aspect of your story, or offer you need more clarification or detail, I'm happy to do so.
Do you use AI in your service?
No. I don't run any part of your work through AI, and I don't write my report with AI. AI isn't used at any step of the process.
