FAQ
What kind of audio do you work with?
I work exclusively with spoken-word vocal audio, including voice-over auditions, narration, podcasts, and character reads. This gig is not intended for music mixing, demos/reels, sound design, or heavy audio restoration.
What does “delivery-ready polish” mean?
Delivery-ready polish means your audio is clean, balanced, and loudness-matched for its intended use (such as auditions or final delivery). This includes detailed cleanup, breath reduction when appropriate, and consistent levels.
Can you edit multiple takes or choose the best takes for me?
Yes! I offer multi-take comping as a gig extra. I can assemble up to two requested or best takes per line into an AABBCC or ABCABC format file, commonly used for voice-over auditions.
What counts as one “audio track”?
One audio track refers to one continuous vocal file. Separate files, pickups, or dialogue tracks should be ordered as Additional Dialogue Tracks.
Do you remove breaths completely?
Breaths are reduced only when appropriate and never stripped unnaturally unless requested. My goal is to preserve a natural performance while removing distractions.
Do you offer audio restoration or fix badly damaged recordings?
No. This gig does not include heavy restoration of severely damaged audio (such as clipping, distortion, extreme background noise, or recording issues that cannot be corrected cleanly).
Can you split my audition into separate files per line?
Yes. File-per-line splitting is available as a gig extra.
What if my audio is longer than the package limit?
No problem! You can add Extra Minutes when ordering, or message me for a custom offer if your project is longer or more complex.
