About this Gig
New to Fiverr but not new to proofreading, I have edited for a variety of publications and documents, including non-fiction manuscripts, reports for research agencies, copy for charities and arts organisations, communications for education businesses, playscripts for theatre companies and many, many pieces of academic writing. I have a first class Russell Group degree in Linguistics and Literature, so your writing is in safe hands!
I will comb through your writing in detail, identifying corrections and potential improvements relating to the following:
- Spelling
- Grammar
- Punctuation
- Syntax
- Structure (at sentence and paragraph level, as well as overall)
- Clarity/flow
- Choice of words/repeated words
Comments will be made on your document in comment bubbles, as suggestions. For documents where it is ethically sound to do so, I can make the edits myself on a separate copy of the file, on request.
Delivery times may well be faster than advertised, just drop me a message!

Do you proofread fiction as well as academic writing?
I will gladly proofread prose fiction. I will also look at your screenplays or scripts, and can cover anything from copy to communications - just don't ask me for feedback on any poetry!
Your delivery times are quite slow. Can I pay extra to have the work done sooner?
No need to pay extra - the times listed are to allow myself a buffer, as my schedule fluctuates a lot! Get in contact, and if I'm in a less busy period, I will absolutely be able to return your work to you sooner.
