I will backtest your trading strategy manually
Day Trader
About this Gig
Don't have time to backtest? Not sure how to test properly? Or want to know if your strategy truly has an edge? Ive personally backtested thousands of data points and trade using a refined, rule-based strategy with proven consistency.
I now offer this same structured manual testing process so you can make data-driven decisions without spending hundreds of hours on charts.
I provide professional manual backtesting and performance analysis for traders using clearly defined rule-based strategies who want accurate, transparent results.
Unlike automated or script backtests, I manually execute your rules as a discretionary trader would.
Each backtest is delivered via Google Sheets and includes trade-by-trade execution data, win/loss performance, R-multiple metrics, session timestamps, expectancy analytics, and TradingView chart evidence links.
You will also receive a structured strategy rules blueprint and an auto-updating performance dashboard to track edge strength, consistency, and historical results.
Message me before ordering to confirm your strategy rules and backtest scope so I can deliver the most accurate results possible.

FAQ
What do you need from me to start the backtest?
You must provide a clearly defined, rule-based trading strategy, including exact entry, stop loss, and take profit rules. Any session filters, time restrictions, or additional conditions must also be stated upfront.
Do you create or provide trading strategies?
No. I do not create strategies or trade for you. This gig is strictly for backtesting and analysing your existing rules.
Is this an automated or script-based backtest?
No. All backtests are performed manually using TradingView to replicate real discretionary execution as closely as possible.
How many trades are included?
Each package includes a maximum number of trades, clearly stated in the package details. If fewer valid setups occur within the tested period, only those trades will be included.
What markets and assets can you test?
I can test most markets available on TradingView, including futures, forex, indices, commodities, and crypto. One asset is included per package.
What platform do you use for backtesting?
TradingView is used for charting, with all results delivered via Google Sheets, including screenshot links for every trade.
Do you guarantee profitable results?
No. Backtesting is used to evaluate expectancy and performance, not to guarantee future profitability.
What does a revision include?
Revisions are limited to clarifications or corrections. Revisions do not include re-backtesting, rule changes, additional trades, or new strategy variations.
What if my strategy rules are unclear or discretionary?
Strategies must be mechanical and testable. Orders may be cancelled if the rules cannot be followed objectively.
Can you backtest specific date ranges or multiple years of historical data?
I backtest based on trade sample size, not fixed date ranges. Historical availability depends on TradingView timeframe limits, especially on lower timeframes. If limitations apply, I will confirm options or adjustments with you before starting any testing.
