Commercial Rights! What is it and does my project need it?
A vast majority of the projects I receive require Commercial rights. It is not currently included. Basically, if your project is business-related and/or will live on the internet (a website/YouTube) you need commercial rights. More info in Fiverr's Terms of Service. Message me if you have questions!
Does my project need Full Broadcast Rights?
Full Broadcast rights is for projects that will be used as advertisements in paid media placements. This includes ads on social media, the internet, streaming, TV and radio. There's more info in Fiverr's TOS, but feel free to message me if you are still unsure.
What do you mean by Fiverr's Terms of Service?
Good question! Fiverr's Terms of Service explains all their legal mumbo jumbo. It covers a lot, so there is a lot of legalese, but if you keyword-search "broadcast" or "commercial rights" it will take you to the section about VO. Here's the link: https://www.fiverr.com/terms_of_service
I need VO for multiple videos, do I need to make separate orders?
Yes! This gig is meant for one script to be used in one video/project/commercial/etc. If you are making multiple commercials, for example, you will need commercial rights and/or full broadcast rights for each one. Word counts cannot be combined. Send me a message if you have any questions.
Can we set up a call to discuss my project?
I really prefer written instructions (or a voice memo) which gives me something to refer to while I record. That said, if you prefer to chat, I'm happy to schedule a 30 minute call for small $50 fee. Message me so we can setup the order and find a time that works for both of us.
Do I need a script?
Yes. Unfortunately, I do not offer copywriting services — but there are many talented writers here on Fiverr that do! If you would like me to re-record a narration that you have, but you don't have a written script, I do request $50 per minute of content that needs to be transcribed.
What is time-synching? Do I need it?
Time-synching is when you need my narration to match up with specific moments in your video. Usually, if you are replacing an existing voice over (a scratch track) OR have very specific timings or captions that need to be synched, time-synching is required. Message me if you have any questions.
What is NOT included?
Well, lots of things. I normally deliver an edited, HQ, .wav audio file with my voice narrating your script. I don't include music, sound effects, video editing or anything other than my own voice. If you need something else, please let me know and I'll do my best to help you figure it out.
