I will edit a sports highlight or recruitment video

About this gig
Coaches spend about 30 seconds on a reel before they move on. What they see in those first few seconds determines everything. If the editing is sloppy, the pacing is off, or the best moments are buried, the reel gets skipped no matter how good your athlete is.
I am a former college athlete and the parent of two student athletes. I have managed film for my kids for years, cut end-of-season highlights, and served as team videographer. I know what coaches look for because I have lived it from both sides.
I find the moments that matter, sequence the clips that show range, and build a video that represents what your athlete can do.
Basic gives you a clean reel with a simple title screen. Standard adds a player profile, position markers, and closing slide built for recruiters. Premium adds music, photos, and full season coverage. Each video allows for ~20 clips. Come organized with footage clipped or timestamped and we can move fast.
Before you order, send me a message. Tell me about your athlete and what you need. I will make sure you are in the right package.

FAQ
Should I contact you before placing an order?
Yes, please. Send me a message first and tell me about your athlete and what you need. I want to make sure you are in the right package before you order.
What do I need to provide before we start?
All video clips, any photos included in your package, jersey number, position, graduation year, school/club name, and any stats you want shown on screen. Organized folders make this go faster for both of us.
How should I share my footage?
A shared drive such as Google or Dropbox work great. You can also send me direct links to game footage saved on Hudl, Veo, or any other platform your team uses. Just make sure I have viewing and download access before we start.
What types of footage work best and what should I know about clip selection?
I work with whatever you have. One tip: coaches want to see how your athlete reads and moves within the game, not just isolated moments. Wide angle shots that show positioning, decision-making, and awareness are often more valuable than tight zoomed-in clips.
What is the difference between Basic and Stanard?
Basic is a clean highlight reel with a simple title screen showing your athlete's name, sport, position, and graduation year. Standard upgrades to a full player profile intro with your photo, key stats, and position markers throughout the video, built specifically for college recruiters.
Can I add music?
Yes. Music is included in Premium. Basic and Standard buyers can add music for $75 with 2 additional days of delivery time.
What is included in a revision?
One round of consolidated feedback per revision. Swap clips, adjust timing, update text, or reorder sections. A revision does not include rebuilding the structure after the first draft is approved.
When does the project timeline begin?
The clock starts once I have received all your content and we have confirmed the direction together. If content arrives late, the timeline adjusts accordingly.
