Hi, I’m Robert, a writer and photographer based in Japan. I create engaging travel, culture, and lifestyle content, with published work for tourism and expat platforms like Joy in Hiroshima and Foreigners Tokyo. What kind of editing adjustments do you offer?
I'll include color correction and grading, exposure and contrast adjustments, cropping, noise reduction (if necessary), distraction removal (if requested), and clarity/sharpness enhancements using Adobe Lightroom.
What software do you use?
I use Adobe Lightroom for all my edits.
Do you offer skin retouching or Photoshop edits?
I don’t offer full skin retouching or body modification, and do not use Photoshop, but I can do light spot healing in Lightroom. This includes removing small blemishes or distractions, depending on the photo. Let me know what you’re looking for, and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
Will you keep my original photo style or apply your own?
I always aim to match your preferred style. If you don’t have one in mind, I’ll apply my own natural, warm style.
Can you choose the best photos for me (culling)?
Yes! I offer culling as a gig extra. I’ll carefully select the best images based on focus, expression, and composition.
Can I see examples of your editing work before ordering?
Definitely. Just message me and I’ll be happy to share additional samples.
How should I send you my photos?
You can upload them via Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer (Google Drive preferred). If there is another way you'd like to send them to me, let me know and I'll see if I can accommodate it.
Do you provide RAW files or return edited RAWs?
I do not provide RAW files or edits of RAWs. You’ll receive fully edited JPEGs in high resolution.
How will you deliver the photos?
Photos will be delivered as high-resolution JPEGs, but I may be able to accommodate other file types. Just ask!
