FAQ
What format should I send the file(s) in?
16 bit or 24 bit WAV files are ideal. AIFF files work, and I can work with mp3's, but it's not ideal. Please make sure there is no limiter on your master/stereo out, and that there is at least a few db's of headroom with no clipping. Ensuring it's not too loud will help a lot with the final master.
Does this gig include mixing?
No, this gig does NOT include mixing. This is mastering only. Generally you will just be sending me one single WAV (or mp3) and I will be mastering from that file. It does not include adding effects, or any mixing.
How should I send you my file(s)?
You can attach the files right in the messages here on Fiverr. A download link from wetransfer, dropbox, google drive, etc work great as well.
What's the difference between mixing and mastering?
With mastering, your final mix is complete. All effects are on the the individual tracks, the levels are set, and I am receiving one WAV file to finalize. Mixing deals with the individual tracks (stems), so you would send me each stem that's in the recording session for more control over the soun
