About this Gig
Before offering a culinary service, a consultation is needed:
- What is the headcount?
- Do you have a budget?
- Are there any allergies in your party?
- Are there any dietary restrictions?
- Am I needed on site or is it just a food drop-off?
I want to make sure you have the best experience possible, so it's important to be as detailed as possible.
I look forward to working with you and creating the most memorable experience possible! :)
*Please note that there is a base fee for all services and that any gig that is not requested 3 weeks (21 days) in advance is subject to a rush fee
** All dishes are subject to a 13% fee to cover grocery fees
***Prices vary on information given by the host
FAQ
Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes. Please cancel your booking with me via email or text a WEEK before the discussed date. Failure to do so will subject you to an $100 fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, a genuine greeting can go a long way. New customers don't know what I'm about and can only judge me based on what I write, so uncertainty is understandable to have. A simple, but necessary consultation to see what my role in their memory is all about.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I plan on going to the Institute of Culinary Education in the Spring of 2024, but for now, I'm a self-taught home-chef. I have food safety certifications: Servsafe Restaurant Manager (July 2016) Servsafe Food Handler (March 2022) NYC Food Protection Manager (January 2023)
What types of customers have you worked with?
Being that I'm still building my brand, most of my clients are friends and family. However, this summer was super important to me because I finally reached strangers, people I've never met before, and they confided in me to give them a great experience.
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All packages include a base fee: - Catering - $100 - Cooking Lessons - $150 - Private Chef - $200 *There is a 13% fee for all dishes required to make to cover for groceries
